Maddy Curley was born and raised in Tallahassee, Florida. Maddy grew up competing in Gymnastics and was a four time Level 10 qualifier and winner in the Elite Nationals in 1999. Maddy earned a full athletic scholarship to compete in gymnastics at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. As a Tar Heel, Maddy was an Academic All American for four years. Maddy studied theater and economics at North Carolina. Shortly after graduation, Maddy auditioned for and earned a role in the film Stick It, starring Missy Peregrym and Jeff Bridges. Maddy quickly made the move to Los Angeles, where she has worked on numerous films, commercials and TV shows, including The Office, Cold Case, The Event, CSI, and many others.

While pursuing her career in acting, Maddy has also written several screenplays and pilots, and produced her own feature film, titled Chalk It Up. 

Maddy has continued to stay active within the fitness community. She has coached gymnastics for over 10 years and has been active within crossfit for the past 6 years. Maddy has competed in the Crossfit Games several times and placed 11th in the open in 2012. Maddy has been CrossFit Level 1 certified since 2008 and can be found coaching crossfit classes at various "boxes" throughout Los Angeles. She has also taught seminars and trained other CrossFit staff for CrossFit HeadQuarters all over the world. Maddy continues to garner a significant amount of demand for her experience and knowledge with training individuals of all levels and ages.
